Member Organizations

DVANB’s 12 members consist of frontline domestic and intimate partner violence (DIPV) service organizations, such as transition houses and second stage housing. These organizations provide a wide range of direct services to those who have experienced DIPV, including but not limited to emergency or temporary safe housing, access to basic necessities, emotional support, connections to government and community supports, accompaniment to court and medical appointments, education, outreach services, and services for children. Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre

The Courage Centre sponsored by Shoppers Drugs Mart is a Trauma Specialized Centre of Excellence offering counselling, support, and housing centre for victims of family violence and their children, those who perpetrate violence, as well as for individuals experiencing emotional and life challenges. The Courage Centre also provides outreach services.

Crossroads for Women

Crossroads for Women is helping women and children transition from crisis to empowerment by providing safe housing, education, counselling and support. Our mandate is to empower victims and survivors of violence and their families break the cycle of abuse by providing shelter and on-going support services, as well as public awareness and prevention programs.

Sanctuary House is a shelter that offers temporary housing for women and children who are victims of domestic violence and need a safe place to stay. Since 1991, Sanctuary House has been supporting and empowering survivors of domestic violence through the provision of education, resources, shelter, one on one support, and crisis intervention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
